I'm not going to the Nordic Manager this season. Have agreed to help get everything going though and maybe continue to do the Snowshoe stuff instead.
We need help going outside the returning staff to recruit someone who is able to run events, have a good attitude, and be able to manager people. I'm going to stay on until we find a replacement and help with training if Chris wants me to.

I'm feeling a little stressed due to not having any luck contacting candidates. I have sent email's reaching out but have only heard back from 2 out of 6. I am reaching out a second time by attempting to call them. I am discovering that my email has been blocked as junk email and the four candidates I haven't heard from have , or may not have .

A large number of my returners are hitting a wall while attempting to log into Dayforce as directed. They have received directions from both myself, as well as an outline from H.R. that was directly forwarded to them. Several have told me that they have been waiting from some time now to here back on their password reset request. In addition, one of my Supervisors was rather disappointed in the tone of the correspondence that he had during one of his repeated attempts. I feel that we need to streamline this process as to not run off valued team members out the gate and make them feel like they are working without getting paid.

Thank you for all the help so far. We are doing great but we still need people for the start of the season. Ideally we will have 170 people lined up for the start of the season and as of now we are hovering around 100. I am noticing a trend with out of state candidates have been dropping off at about 2 per day. Some of them have stated that the biggest reason for them not moving is COVID but others have been attracted by other ski resort jobs such as Vail or resorts that are closer to them. It makes me cautiously reserved about spending too much time on out of state candidates but I will continue to try to attract them to MHM. Thank you.

Gearcheck positions have been difficult to fill in past seasons. We need outgoing, personable people who enjoy being outside. I need 3-6 FT gearcheck attendants for this season. At this point , I may have almost 1. These positions may require more promotion in order to get enough applicants.
