Paycheck Delivery Options for team members

To best serve our team members, Mt. Hood Meadows/Cooper Spur Mt. Resort pay by direct deposit either using a bank account or Rapid Paycard. You may opt out of this in the onboarding process.

Mt. Hood Meadows strongly encourages team members to set-up direct deposit, whether it be via your personal checking account, Rapid Paycard or Dayforce Wallet. More information on Rapid Paycard and Dayforce Wallet can be found in the section below.

Delivery of paper checks on payday may be delayed due to weather and business level fluctuations, your schedule could change and you may not be at the mountain when payroll is distributed.

We recommend setting up direct deposit to ensure our team members receive their pay and do not experience delays that can happen associated with weather if you choose the paper check option.

You can get your paycheck up to 2 days early by setting up direct deposit to a Dayforce Wallet Mastercard

On-Demand Access to Your Pay

You will now be able to get access to your pay as soon as you earn it, at no cost to you. You can request on-demand pay once per payroll, up to a maximum of $500. Dayforce will take into account taxes, deductions, and payroll elections. You can now access your pay when and where you need it most.

Use your Dayforce card wherever MasterCard is accepted:
in-store, online, over the phone, or to pay a bill.

You can withdraw cash and transfer money to other accounts too. The Dayforce Wallet app will allow you to view your card balance, access earning statements, and see your transaction history.

Q. What is the rapid! PayCard?
A. It is a prepaid card that does not require a credit check; therefore, only a successful identity check and US Residency is required. It allows you to collect and spend your pay without hassle or inconvenience. The rapid! PayCard can be used at millions of ATMs and merchant locations worldwide, wherever Debit Mastercard or Visa debit cards are accepted. This card provides you with added safety and security over carrying cash.

Q. When will my payroll funds be available on my rapid! PayCard?
A. Your pay will typically be available by 10:00 am EST in the morning on your payday. You can check your balance then or anytime by calling 1.877.380.0980 or by visiting www.rapidfs.com.

Q. What happens if I lose my rapid! PayCard? What should I do?
A. Just call 1.877.380.0980 to report it lost/stolen and request a new card, or ask your employer for a new card. Call 1.877.380.0980 (press 0) and tell the representative this is a replacement card.

Q. Is this payroll direct deposit different from other types of direct deposit?
A. Not at all. The funds deposited on your card can be available by 10:00 am EST in the morning on your payday.

Q. How can I get a rapid! PayCard and get started with Direct Deposit?
A. In the Direct Deposit section of your Dayforce Onboarding – submit the Direct Deposit form blank and Payroll will set up a RapidPay Card for you. Payroll will reach out via Dayforce to notify you when your Paycard is ready and how to pick-up. You can also inform the HR Team that you would like to set up a paycard and we can get the process started for you as well! 

Q. Can I add additional funds to my rapid! PayCard?
A. The rapid! PayCard is fully portable. This means you can take the card to any other employer (second or part-time job), regardless of who gave you the card, and sign up for a direct deposit payment. In addition, you can direct deposit your income tax refund, social security benefit, military pension, or any other payment that can be direct deposited. Paper Check Protocols & Delivery process:

The following protocols are in place to ensure that team members receive their paper checks on payday:

Payday is every other Thursday. See the payroll schedule posted at the bottom of the page.

– Paper checks are delivered to your home manager on Thursday afternoons once payroll arrives at the mountain.
Do not travel to Admin to retrieve your paycheck, your check will not be in the Admin building. 

– Paper checks are secured by the manager in your home department and are available for pickup from
Thursday afternoon through Sunday.
– Paper checks are promptly mailed out on Monday morning to the address on file in Dayforce; no exceptions.

Team members are personally responsible for keeping their address up to date in Dayforce.
