Job Description:
As a Tour Guide at Bike the Gorge, you will have the opportunity to showcase the stunning beauty of the Columbia River Gorge to visitors from around the world. We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our team from May 1 through October 18 on a part-time or full-time basis. If you have a love for the outdoors, enjoy interacting with people, and have a knack for storytelling, this is the perfect role for you.
Now Hiring: Lost Lake Camp Host, Housekeeping staff and General Laborers.
These positions are both inside and outside and involve talking to staff, and/or renting boats, paddle boards, and kayaks through our POS system, among other general duties. Must be reliable, personable, customer service-oriented and like to have fun!
Job Description: Requirements are, but not limited to: Transportation, lifting of at least 25 lbs., great customer service, and maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Sorry, no housing is provided.
Lost Lake is open through October, weekends included. Work schedules vary.
Pay: Up to $20+ an hour
Full time/Part Time Seasonal, May/June through October, 2025.

Peak Tours and Transit
Peak Tours, a family-owned Oregon company, is seeking engaging Step-On Tour Guides for the 2026 tourism season in the Columbia River Gorge region. Guides join guests aboard existing motorcoaches (no driving required) to deliver live narration and storytelling about local history, culture, and landscapes.
Tours primarily operate in The Dalles, Hood River, and Stevenson, and guides must be able to travel to at least one of these locations. Ideal candidates have experience in tour guiding, teaching, performing, or public speaking, and enjoy bringing regional stories to life.
Type: Part-time, seasonal freelance (1099)
Season: April–October (training in March)
Pay: Per tour, equivalent to $21/hour + tips
Tour Length: 2–3 hours (20–60 minutes of guided narration)
