Below are the minimum requirements for each position:
Landscape Laborer ($18-$20/hr DOE) – Valid driver’s license and insurable record – Reliable transportation – Good work ethic and timeliness (show up to work early or on time) – Prior construction experience in any trade. – Know how to properly use a shovel, small hand tools, and small equipment.
Landscape Foreman ($18-$25/hr DOE) – Landscape Laborer qualifications plus the following: – Experience running a crew – 5 years landscape construction and/or irrigation installation experience

We are seeking hard working, dependable crew members. The work can be physical and demanding in strength, stamina and agility. The role of the Bike Rental Manager is to oversee and take responsibility for all aspects of the bike rental product offered by Ebike Multnomah Falls. This includes the physical maintenance of the fleet, customer liaison, marketing, and promotional activities. The job description which follows is for a full-time job for one individual covering all aspects of the role. However, we would consider part-time / job-share arrangements where an individual feels they have particular skills/interest in a particular aspect of the job and/or insufficient skills/experience in another area.
Training will be provided, and support is available from other departments within the business as required.
Rental Bookings & Customer Service
- Respond to bike rental inquiries via email, phone, and in-person, including advising potential customers on the suitability and availability of bikes and routes;
- Process bookings and maintain an accurate and up-to-date availability calendar;
- Schedule and carry out delivery and collection of rental bikes, including sizing, set-up, and mechanical adjustment of bikes and accessories;
- Carry out off-site repairs/delivery of replacement bikes to customers experiencing major mechanical issues while on a ride.
- Follow up with customers to gather reviews and encourage customers to post to Social Media.
- Coordinate and oversee coverage of your days off by other team members including casual/seasonal employees.
Rental Fleet Maintenance & Management
- Keep the rental fleet (comprising bikes, equipment, and accessories) in a safe, working condition according to an agreed maintenance schedule. This is a practical, hands-on part of the job. You’ll be maintaining and repairing bikes to a high standard of workmanship. Attention to detail is key.
- Monitor stock levels for bike rental consumables (tubes, patches, bike cleaner, maps, etc) and re-order as required.
Marketing & Promotion
- Work with local accommodations, restaurants, and tourist attractions to promote bike rental services;
- Identify new markets and potential collaboration with other businesses, organizations, and agents
- Ensure tourism-focused publications are kept up to date about bike hire products.
- Contribute to social media channels.
- Use advertising budget to test new advertising opportunities and report on results.
Skills and experience
- A friendly, proactive, and helpful attitude – customer service is a key requirement of the role;
- Sound understanding and experience of bike maintenance.
- Experience within the service or tourism industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary and Time Commitments
This is a full-time role with a salary of between $3000 and $4000/month depending on skills and experience. Use of a company car may be available as part of a package for the right applicant
From April 1 – Memorial Day and Labor Day – Nov 1 a more relaxed yet still busy schedule is expected.
Between Labor Day and Memorial Day, the applicant is expected to be “all hands on deck” available to work nearly every day, dusk to dawn, with an occasional day off. You will be expected to work every holiday and weekend during this period without exceptions.
From Nov 1 – April 1 minimal bike rental occurs and you are expected to work an estimated 30 days of rental during this period. You will have all holidays off during this period. This is a very relaxed time when minimal administrative tasks will be assigned to you which you’ll be able to do from anywhere. Taking off on an extended vacation, working another gig, etc… is encouraged.
