What a Season!
I would like to start off this final newsletter of the 24/25 winter season by thanking each and every one of you for being such an integral part of another successful season at Mt Hood Meadows!
Without our dedicated team, (and a little help from mother nature bringing us 461″ of snowfall this season!), we would not be able to provide our loyal customers with the memorable experiences they come to the mountain to enjoy.
To our team members from the lowest parking lot to the top of Cascade and everywhere in between, Thank You for everything you’ve done to make this a truly fantastic season!

Mental Health Awareness Month
Mental Health Awareness Month is observed every May in the United States to raise awareness about mental health issues, reduce stigma, and promote access to mental health resources and support.
Established in 1949 by Mental Health America, this month is dedicated to educating the public about mental illnesses, advocating for policies that support mental health, and encouraging people to prioritize their emotional well-being.
If your feeling exhausted, fatigued or just generally feel like you could use a boost, now is an excellent time to take advantage of our EAP offered through uprise health. Link Below!

Summer Operations
With the completion of the pond skim on Saturday our season has effectively come to an end.
Though the Ooooeee’s and the woohoo’s may be on hold for the next few months, a new day will dawn for those who stand long and the forests will echo with laughter as soon as the snow melts and we are able to begin our summer operations at ‘Your Mountain Home”.
Mountain Cleanup: July 13th
Hood Hundred: July 26th & 27th
Inaugural Mt. Hood Wildflower Festival: July 31st – August 3rd
Wy’east Trail Fest – August 9th & 10th
Summer Brew Fest – August 24th
Spring Safety
As we drop down to essential personnel, lets keep mindful of who’s where on the mountain and stay in communication.
Watch for wildly varying terrain hazards, from Pika tunnels to gaps between buildings and snowbanks – step with care and watch for holes! Solar intensity is near maximum, remember to use sunscreen or SPF layers and a brimmed hat to keep sun damage to a minimum.
Big thanks for conscientious Near-Miss reporting this season, and for shifting your perspective around what constitutes a near-miss. We received 27 such reports this year, these “leading indicators” can help us prevent future accidents. Thanks again!

Employee Volunteer Day
Help us show love to our houseless neighbors by handing our hygiene supplies, socks, and water to those living on the streets. Our goal is to engage the community in compassionate conversation and provide some relief to their immediate needs. Please wear shoes that are good for walking and weather appropriate clothing.

***You are welcome to meet us downtown as well if you are coming from the Portland side or simply do not want to carpool from the resort***
