– Need a ticket for your plus 1? Visit HR/Uniforms to pick one up!
Rentals:
– Free Rentals
– Pickup from 4:15 – 4:45 pm
– Must be reserved by 12 pm the day before (March 15th). Reserve your rentals by filling out the rental form in the Sahale Rental Center, or by completing and dropping off the attached form below.
Lessons:
Free first-time 90-minute lessons, meet @ adult lesson meeting area at 4:15 pm.
Umbrella Falls Snowshoe Tour:
– Email jobs@skihood.com to reserve your spot & rentals, meet @ Sahale Rental Entrance at 4:30pm
Food & Beverage:
– Taco Bar in Sahale 4:45 – 6:30pm
– Bullwheel Bar
– $3 beer, $5 wine,
– ID required for alcohol, last call @ 6:30pm

DEI Training Specific for the Ski & Snowboard Industry
A new DEI training available for you in the Inclusion Training offerings.
DEI 101: a Learning Module about Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
The National Ski Areas Association has created a valuable education module, so you and your teammates can learn more about the importance of inclusion, diversity & equity in mountain recreation. In this 20-minute module you will learn about the how inclusion is vital to the sustainability of mountain ski area operations, what unconscious biases and microaggressions are, and practice through observing two role-playing scenarios and empathy exercises to enhance your understanding. Join in person or virtually for a group discussion on inclusion, belonging, and equity. Bring your takeaways, insight, and questions from the NSAA Training Module as Humaira and Matt will facilitate group discussions and activities during 90-minute sessions, with the premise for US to learn and grow together on our journey.
Sessions:
Monday, March 20th at 11am and 2pm in the Vertical North or Join Virtually
Thursday, March 23rd at 11am in the Vertical North or Join Virtually
You will be paid for attending. Please clock in and out if you attend, and work with your supervisors on schedule and time edits.
Come Prepared: Watch the NSAA video and bring your questions, reactions, insights, and observations to the group discussion.
Walk-ins are welcome but registration is encouraged in advance so we can anticipate #’s for group activities.

Skill-Building Webinar: Mindfulness & Meditation
Join our EAP provider, Uprise Health for a 30-minute skill-building webinar and take a deeper dive into the body scan style of meditation. By turning the awareness inward we naturally let the worries of the day slip away and find ourselves more calm and present. This practice can also help us locate specific unease in the body and gently work with it. Presented by certified yoga instructor and meditation teacher, Melissa Young.
