What's New With The Newsletter
Get to know your co-workers: I’ve compiled a list of questions and will be interviewing a team member from a different department each week. If you wish to be a participant, or have someone you’d like to nominate to participate, send me an email or swing by the HR office and let me know the name and department of the individual to be interviewed.
Find the Lyric: In each newsletter this season there will be a hidden song lyric or lyrics. Be one of the firsts to find the hidden lyric, and swing by the HR office to say, or even better sing, the lyric(s) and win a prize.
Provide to Ride
Tell your friends, tell your neighbors, tell your family!
On Tuesday December 17th 2024 individuals receive a free lift ticket with a “Provide to Ride” donation to the Food Bank | FISH Food Bank | Hood River. By donating 24 cans of food or two hams you will receive a free ticket to ski/ride. If you are not privy to haulin’ ham we will also be offering $49 lift tickets ($44 of which will be donated to FISH).
If you already have a season pass and still wish to participate, you will be able to “gift” your lift ticket to a friend or family member.

Night Skiing Is Almost Here
Thanks to everyone living up to our “everybody shovels” mantra as well as being able to get by with a little help from our friends (The weather!). We are excited to begin our night operations on December 13th, a full week ahead of schedule!
Having completed lighting upgrades to many of our light posts (Replacing old sodium bulbs with energy efficient LED’s) over the summer, you will be treated to a brighter, and less shadowy experience!
Breakfast with Santa
When: December 22 & 23 2024
8 am and 9:15 am seating times.
Where: Vertical North
For just $19 for adults and children aged 9 and up, $15 for kids 8 and under, enjoy a delicious fireside breakfast including a waffle and yogurt parfait bar while getting pictures with Santa.

Acupuncture in the Alp Loft
Join us in the Alp loft on Friday the 13th from 11:30 to 1:00 pm for acupuncture with Emily Redstone from Live Wild Wellness.
Sign up sheet will be on the door Friday morning. Availability is on a first come, first serve basis.
A millennia old medicine, acupuncture can be used to treat all human ailments, ranging from aches and pains to internal ailments and mental health.

Rubber boots with sweatpants (cowboy boots when I needed to be a little more formal)
