Heidi is a sixth generation Oregonian, and longtime Hood River resident. She is the sustainability program manager in addition to Executive Administrator. In this capacity, she directs many of the company’s sustainable business practices. This includes energy conservation and waste reduction initiatives to help produce environmental results while simultaneously creating business benefits. Heidi is a Master Recycler and has contributed many volunteer hours educating others about recycling.

Since he was young, Jesse has had a profound passion for nature. He was raised in Pennsylvania, where he explored the eastern woodlands and extended his travels to the tropical regions of Florida. He holds an associate degree in environmental science and worked as a field technician for Lake and Tree Savers, where he contributed to efforts aimed at mitigating the environmental issues caused by human activities in aquatic ecosystems and forested areas. He is currently the Summer Hiking Host Supervisor in the Summer and Adult Daily Lesson Supervisor in the winter and has been with MCSAT for 3 seasons now.

Hannah Sebring (she/her) is a Coloradan who learned to ski at Meadows when she joined the Nordic Center team in 2021. She is proud to be the Nordic Center and Snowshoe Program Manager and represent these departments on MCSAT. Her passion for environmentalism comes from hiking in the Rockies with her dad. A proud Oregon Duck, her environmental studies degree helps her in the amazing outdoor industry from snowshoe tours to Smokey Bear meet and greets.

Kenzie Schlangen is the HR Supervisor at Mt. Hood Meadows Resort and discovered her love for snowboarding after joining the team in 2019. Growing up in a small rural town in Washington and learning to hunt sparked her passion for sustainability and her dedication to eco-friendly practices. Kenzie is committed to finding practical solutions that balance human needs with environmental conservation, helping to preserve natural resources for future generations.

Allison Marriner grew up in Oregon and learned how to ride at Mt Hood Meadows before moving to Colorado in 2003. Her passion for the si industry led her to study Ski Area Operations at Colorado Mountain College. She spent 16 years in Colorado and after 3 winters in South Korea building the 2018 Olympic Alpine Speed Venue she found her way back to Mt Hood Meadows. Allison was promoted to Park and Slope Grooming Manager in 2022. In this role equipment Idle time management, grooming operational efficiencies and fuel usage are all important sustainability issues to manage. Spending her entire career in outdoor recreation Allison has learned the importance of leave no trace practices, resource management and the responsible use of our environment and its resources.

Claire Thomforde-Garner (she/her) serves as Administrative Supervisor, Adaptive Trainer, and Alpine Instructor at the Meadows Learning Center (formerly known as ski school). She began skiing at the age of three in her hometown of Philadelphia, navigating the icy slopes of the Poconos and Appalachians. Throughout her upbringing, Claire was instilled with her family's strong commitment to sustainability, emphasizing 'buying local,' 'recycling,' and 'self-sufficiency.' These principles continue to guide her and her partner Jesse in their everyday lives. During the summer months, Claire is out of the office as a wildland fire EMT, where she observes firsthand the effects of rising temperatures on our local environment.

  - Topics being considered: Idling awareness, Recycle Right, Reuse trail maps, RFID media + cash cards at Meadows, minimizing carry-out container use by our team, bringing your own cup to our coffee shops etc.
