Cooper spur has made some great changes this year, but the clover seems very ineffective, and time consuming when the restaurant fills up with guests.
Many people have issues understanding to wait to insert /swipe card- causing us to have to start over if they insert too soon. It’s super slow and does not allow us to easily take care of payments when it comes to having multiple people pay at the same time.
New uniforms please...these old ones are REALLY tired!!!
We are in the process of phasing out the Decent North America (DNA) jackets and pants, but this is a two-season process. We have filled in sizes that we were particularly short on especially the extra small and small sizes. We have retired some of the older uniform pieces that were showing signs of wear. If you have a uniform piece that is not meeting performance expectations, please check with Uniforms/HR to see if we can get you a newer DNA uniform piece that does. The management team of the Learning Center has opted to continue to use the DNA uniforms so that our Full Time instructors may take advantage of the newer Helly Hansen uniforms. Part Time team members should continue to use the DNA uniforms when possible. With a seasonal staff of over 1,000 employees it is a challenge to retire all uniforms in a single season, but know that we are committed to Helly Hansen for many seasons to come and the new uniforms will be available for everyone next season, once we fill in the larger sizes. –Tyler Barnes, Learning Center Operations Manager
Although I understand the season has just begun and there have been a few issues with new systems, I would appreciate better communication. Specifically in terms of scheduling thus far. Everything else has been great so far!
Things are good we all develop relationships with others. Everyone is open to getting to know you and are nice even when they feel down and tired. We also get to learn so much as time goes on.
Everything has been so awesome in Higher Grounds, but the new Clover system has really been slowing us down and giving problems. Super stoked that Maintance installed our digital menus.
