Lift Operations could use a makeover... the kitchen area can be a ground zero for what we call "lifty plague" and it can make our department suffer in operations through the butterfly effect. If we could get electronic bug and mice repellers, a stainless steel sink basin and a dish drying rack I strongly feel that we could reduce the rate of illness in our department. Furthermore, our break room does not fit the crew size that we have. If we could rearrange the layout by adding a bar counter top and some cabinets for under our current shelving systems than we could utilize the space much more efficiently.

Thank you for the detailed feedback that is very helpful. I know Cody is focused on keeping the building clean. Hopefully we can make some improvements.

Please send an extra bus on weekends for employees, I know there's an earlier bus but not everyone can clock in that early. This Saturday on the hood river side the bus was so packed in the morning and the evening that people had to stand in the aisle and that seems very dangerous on a bus that seems meant to get children to school.

Management Response

Thanks for the feedback on this. I haven't gotten a chance to follow up on it yet but I have heard a few people mention similar comments.

I would love to see hoodies come back. While I appreciate the funds spent on the new uniforms the midlayers are not awesome. Honestly, if the mid layers had some sort of hood we could use to keep our neck and heads warm. Even if we couldn't wear personal hoodies but Meadows logo hoodies, it would be amazing and would undoubtedly lead to higher sales of Meadows brand merchandise.

A defined quiet space for calls and work, or headsets for better hearing on phone calls.

Management Response

I believe leadership of sales and marketing is looking headsets.

This is a challenging time of year to meet operational goals and employee expectations for fair notice and timely communication. Support services seem as overwhelmed as the rest of us.

Management Response

The start of every season seems to bring it's own unique challenges. For some support departments I know the beginning of this season has been one of the most challenging in recent memory.
