Would like to point out some awesome work Steve Pilch did last week. There had been an ongoing issue with the wireless network and getting a correct IP address for over a year now on some devices. Steve has learned some very technical networking skills lately and utilized them to track down the issue and then fix it.
It is great to see a co-worker learn and apply skills and to be at a place that provides that opportunity.
Thank you for recognizing Steve, he has really been doing an amazing job and helping so many others be successful.

Introducing more salad and healthier options in the Schuss is a great step in the right direction. I would like to see this pushed even more!
Sweet potato fries or hummus and pita??
Thanks for noticing…there are also some great items in Fresh Tracks.
Our challenge is to keep the menu large enough to be interesting, but small enough so it doesn’t bog down production. Too many options will mean slower execution. This is due to the extreme volume of business that area sees. We need to set it up for success on a slammed Saturday…which means the menu may seem a bit limited on a Tuesday. That is why we have the added midweek specials. We will run with those for several weeks, and then make some changes most likely in late January.

I was training a new hire alpine instructors. It was a very rewarding experience.
So great to hear! Thank you for letting us know! - Tyler Barnes, MLC Ops & Training Manager
I completely understand the logic behind taking away the 2 shuttle stops on the hood river side. But as I understand it, the issue is people parking on the property of China gorge and rosauers. I feel as though little thought was given to those of us that walk to the shuttle. Canceling the rosauers stop not only added 15 minutes to my 10 minute walk, but also made it more dangerous as I now walk on unlit streets with no side walk at 5am. I felt pretty let down and disappointed in a company that touts employee wellness but seemed to give no thought to their employees that walk to the shuttle each morning. Perhaps you might find a solution by having stops at or near the cancelled ones that are for walkers only or something to improve the situation I and others are experiencing.
Thanks for your feedback and positive understanding of the changes to employee transit. There are several reason why we removed those stops, one being the parking issue, the other being the goal to align with the new Gorge to Mountain shuttle that is being sponsored by CAT. One thing I have been working with CAT on is the ability for our team to ride the in town CAT shuttle for free down to the Event Site. This likely wont help you if you ride the early morning buses. But perhaps you could work with your manager to ride the bus that arrives at MHM at 8:30am so that you can utilize this option and feel safer? Feel free to contact me if you’d like to talk further about how we might accommodate you and others in this situation.

I actually haven’t been scheduled to work a day yet, sadly! But still wanted to send my love and say that I’m incredibly excited to get this season going with you all! I’ve heard nothing but amazing things, and the way you care for your employees is a beautiful thing. Hope to see you all very soon.
I wish my boss wasn’t so abrasive and barks at us. She makes us feel so demeaning and belittling especially when it comes to questions about Dayforce. I thought about quitting and it was hard to go back to work because We are being micro managed 🙁
I'm sorry to hear you are feeling that way. Not knowing the details of the situation it is hard to know how to help other than to recommend you discuss it with your boss as it is likely she might not realize how the interactions are making you feel.

Cody Howe is an amazing manager. He leads and shows everyone the way in lift ops. He is an inspiration to me, and I try to learn as much as I can from him.
I hate that's their is not a stop on the bus schedule up in the Heights anymore. I literally got a house behind Roseaurs for the reason that it's close to a stop and because I only have 2wd. If you are going to make a new bus schedule it would be wise to put it out earlier then a couple days of putting it in place. It would also be nice if the letter you guys sent out was more understanding. What does "only pickup" mean? And where's the stop going to be in odell? Could have been put together just a bit better.
Thank you for the feedback. Personally I think the entire leadership team is amazing this season! We are a learning organization and anytime you want to learn more feel free to ask!

Dayforce is frustrating. My functions are not set up correctly and my manager tells me to go to HR and HR tells me to go to my manager. I am told I need to be viewing punches (time and attendance) for my team and I’m not set up correctly to do so. I stop in with questions about Dayforce and although while pleasant, HR often tells me “oh you can’t do that in the app” even though I know that function is available in the app because my manager can do it (edit punches) Joanna has been very nice and tries to assist but I’ve more than once left without the answer or updated tools to do my job.
Thank you for providing your feedback. With any new system there are always challenges as we learn how to use it and what it can and can't do. I appreciate you leaving your department, I will follow up the management team to see if we can eliminate the run around you are feeling.

Well apriciated e bus being provided just head to many things happen after I started
I have no suggestions at this point in time. I am incredibly happy with my position at Meadows and I've had nothing but positive experiences with employees that I've worked with.
That is awesome to hear, thank you for sharing!
