Last Few Days for Employee Tunes
- $25 tunes can be dropped off now through Friday, Jan 26th. Please respect that we will be focused on guest tunes Fri, Sat, and Sun, so if the gear is dropped off on a weekend it may take longer to get it done.
- $25 is the base price. Cost is dependent on how much time/material we will use.
- This is for Team Members’ gear only, it is not for friends or family, we are still tuning guest gear during the week. This is a perk not a privilege for Meadows Team Members.
- We can’t bring gear back from the dead. If it’s beyond repair we can refuse to tune it.
- Snowboarders must take their bindings and hardware with them. We don’t have room to hold onto their stuff.
- For tuning only, no mounts, or binding adjustments.
- One set at a time, you cannot drop off new gear until your last gear has been picked up.
- Please pick it up as soon as possible, space in the shop is extremely limited.
- Please be understanding about time, depending on how much volume we are dealing with, things can take a little longer than expected. The HPC crew will be working as hard as they can to get that gear done in a timely manner.
Please be respectful and gracious to the HPC staff and remember this is for team members only please refrain from sharing this information with non-Meadows team members.
Parking / Drop-Off Policy Updates
Due to some continued challenges with drop-offs in particular when the main lot is closed and we’re parking the Sunrise Lot, we have updated our drop-off policy as follows:
Scenario 1: Main Lot is closed, actively Parking Sunrise Lot
If the Main Lot is closed and the Sunrise Lot is being parked, there will be a roadblock at the Sunrise parking lot intersection. You may drop off your party at the Sunrise shuttle bus stop, where they can catch the shuttle to the main base area. You may then park at Sunrise or any of the other open lots.
Shuttle buses depart the Sunrise Lot every 10 to 15 minutes with a travel time of 5 minutes to the Main Lot which drops off right at the front of the lodges. Shuttle buses also pick up in front of the lodges and depart every 10 to 15 minutes for Sunrise, Hood River Meadows, and Twilight. Foot travel to and from the Sunrise Lot to the Main Lot is not recommended. There is a run that is open day and night for those who wish to ski or snowboard back to their vehicle parked at the Sunrise Lot.
Scenario 2: Main Lot and Sunrise Lot are closed
There will be a roadblock when the Main Lot and the Sunrise Lot are closed. At the junction of the main access road cloverleaf interchange and Hwy 35, there will be a drop-off queuing lane where you may obtain a roadblock pass to drop off at the main base area.
Scenario 3: All lots are closed
If all lots are closed, no drop-offs are allowed. Usually, one or all the parking lots will re-open by early afternoon, typically before 2 PM.
To be notified by text message when parking lots re-open (and other operational updates), please subscribe to our daily text alerts at the URL below. Numbers are unsubscribed at the end of each day, so you’ll need to re-subscribe to receive the text alerts for your next visit.
We hope this information helps you prepare for your visit to Mt. Hood Meadows
Mountain Safety
Skiing and snowboarding are inherently dangerous and while some things are out of your control, there is knowledge you need and actions that you can take to help reduce your risk of injuries.
Accept personal responsibility for your safety by learning about your risks and your responsibilities with our new Mt Safety Guide and other MHM safety information (linked below).

Bar Policy Reminder
Our bar team has some reminders about company policy and being respectful of our bar and restaurant teams.
- Remember to be out of uniform and off the clock when you go to grab a drink. There should be no MHM gear in the bars period unless you are working in that area. This includes Meadows pants and name tags.
- Please do not take your breaks in the Bullwheel, Loft, Alpenstube, or Vertical, whether they are open or closed. This is unfair both to our guests who may be looking for a seat in our limited restaurant space and to our waitstaff. You are always more than welcome to take a break in our cafeteria and quick service areas.
- Our house policy rules for our guests are the same as they are for employees. This means 1 drink per person, if you are buying for another then they must come and grab it. We also ID those who look 40 and under.
- Oregon law states that everyone must have their ID on them to receive an alcoholic beverage, no matter the age. If our staff asks you for your ID you must produce it.
- Closing times for the Bullwheel are 4:10 pm (last call at 4:05p) when there is no night skiing and 9 pm (Last call 8:55p) when there is night skiing. No drinks are served after these times for both employees and guests.
