Finally, we have some snow on the ground and orientation is just around the corner. Hopefully, we will be riding and skiing soon!

Here are response to comments from the last survey:

Q: “We have a fun team here at Cooper. I like coming to work with everyone.”

A: Very cool to hear that! Cooper is off to its strongest first quarter start yet!

Q: “Super excited to be back on the resort for another season and working with talented team members in the snow sports industry.”

A: Totally agree!

Q: “We’re excited for the winter season at Cooper Spur. Hopefully we open our ski area in Christmas break this year!”

A: For those that haven’t ridden at Cooper Spur Ski Area make sure to check it out this season.

Q: “Seems like we get to this point every year and we’ve taken bites bigger than we can chew. It would be refreshing to see Leadership step back and take stock of what is really important. We have a lot of big ideas and big goals. Instead of being inspiring, new branding, pricing structures, compensation revamps and new missions have the effect of being overwhelming.”

A: Continual improvement is what we are trying to achieve but it is understandable that trying to do too much doesn’t always create improvement. I’d certainly welcome any discussion on what we could have done differently so we can learn from it in the future.

Q: “Let’s go for the big win!”

Q: “Shared offices are always a challenge, we all need to remember there are others working in that area.”

A: Space is certainly tight in our current lodge layout. Self-awareness and respect for each others space is important to make it work for everyone.

Q: “So proud of our team and the representation we have at offsite events like Snowvana. Professional, joyful and enlightening.”

A: Agreed multiple departments work together very well to put on great shows at these events. Not an easy task.

Q: “It’s great to be back! And early season communication to all keeps everyone stoked!”

A: Communication is key for our success!
