DEI Train the Trainer Leadership COHORT

Topics will include: Unconscious Bias Training: recognize bias within self, others, and unlearn negative behaviors; understand both implicit and explicit bias and promote conscious inclusion. Empathy and Belonging: Empathy and belonging training encourages individuals to engage in understanding perspectives different from their own. Cohort will meet once a month for 3 hours (paid); on Fridays. Homework will be 1.5 hours (paid) and must be completed in advance of the monthly in person cohort convening. Cohort participants will have a capstone project to present in April to the DEI Committee and/or their department. The cohort will receive practical guidance, with real life stories, be highly interactive and everyone is encouraged to bring a learning/growth mindset. Cohort applicants need pre-approval from their supervisor/manager to ensure any scheduling conflicts are minimized.
