March Toyota Stoke Winners
As part of our efforts to recognize and celebrate exceptional Team Members we offer a Toyota sponsorship vehicle (with gas paid!) for the entire month to someone that consistently demonstrate a commitment to our core values.
“This month, we’re proud to announce that Max Power, our Cooper Spur Ski Resort Manager, has been selected for this honor. Max has done an incredible job leading his team, consistently going above and beyond. His ability to step into any role and keep things running smoothly in a small ski area — where a small staff takes on a big workload — is nothing short of remarkable”
~Greg P
Congratulations Max!

Joining Max as a stoke winner this month is Jordan Kennedy from DPS!
“Jordan has consistently done an amazing job in her role with DPS this season. Her friendly face, active listening and respectful communications have improved outcomes for many of our team members and guests.”
~Mel T
Congratulations Jordan!

Spring Stoke Vouchers
To help spread the stoke this spring and encourage others to try skiing or snowboarding, all active team members have been assigned 2 Spring Stoke Vouchers. The spring stoke vouchers are valid any day through the remainder of the 24/25 season.
Each voucher includes:
- One 2-hour lesson
- Rentals
- A beginner progression lift ticket (valid for access to Ballroom, Buttercup, Easy Rider, Daisy, and Vista Express when in operation)
Important Note: Each voucher will deactivate once any part of it is used. For example, if you use the voucher to get your friend rentals for the day, the entire voucher (lesson, lift ticket, and rental) will be deactivated, even if you don’t use all three products.
Hazard Hunting Season - A Message on Safety
Like Easter Eggs in a lawn, hazards are all around us, hiding around our daily activities. Is there something in your area that everyone “knows to avoid” to the point that they’ve almost forgotten it’s a hazard? What about little irritants – that thing that makes you move or operate differently, perhaps in a less ergonomic way? Let’s see if we can get a good list this week of those things “everyone knows about,” but haven’t been acted upon – yet. Grab that QR code (or the Hazard Hunters button below!) and tell us about it!
Thanks!!

Winner Winner Winner!
Ya’ll are getting good at this. I thought I made it more challenging last time but we had four winners in the first two days! We’ve refreshed the bin with some fresh swag, be one of the first to find the lyrics and get the goods before Mike and Rob!
Cierra Janes – F & B
Elizabeth Stubblefield – HRM
Rob Vogel – HR Generalist
Mike Blawn – DPS/Caretaker

Attention Racers!
Since our guest’s experience begins when they leave their homes, we are also representatives of Mt. Hood Meadows on our ways to and from the resort.
We have received multiple complaints of team members driving dangerously and want to take a moment for a refresher on the basics.
Red means Stop – I know the access road light is new, but it is very important to respect this light to maintain the safety of our Team Members and Guests alike.
There are no passing lanes on the access road – even when the lines are covered in snow.
The speed limit in the parking lot is 5 MPH.

Summer Job Fair
Who: Any Team Member who is looking for or interested in summer work in the area.
What: Mt Hood Meadows summer job fair.
Where: Vertical North.
Why: To help our remarkable seasonal team members find summer employment locally.
When: 2:00-4:30 pm on Sunday April 6th.
Representatives from Pfriem, Good News Gardening, and Skamania Lodge amongst others will be on site accepting applications and chatting with prospective candidates.
There will also be a table of fliers/job postings from businesses that want to hire you but could not make the event.
Summer Job Board
Since not all businesses are able to make the event, and Job searching is generally a multi-day process, we’ve also updated (and will continue to update!) the summer job board found on our team site.
With the legwork already completed, this is a great resource to peruse local employment opportunities for our off season.
I’m not in the promise making business, but once in a while, you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Uniforms - Early Dropoff
Tired of looking at those mid layers in your locker you haven’t used all season?
No longer using the pants as the weather shifts to spring?
Clear up some space (and help out Maddy!) by dropping off your no-longer-being-used uniform pieces in the black bin in front of uniforms.

Spring Shirt!
Thank you for everyone who submitted an entry for this year’s Spring Shirt. Your HR team enjoyed going through the diverse entries this season!
Congratulations to Edgar Carbajal for the unanimously voted on design concept!

Mountain Exchange Update: A Season of Adventure!
The Mountain Exchange program continues to be one of our favorites here at Meadows! With over 2,900 exchanges already, skiers and riders have been exploring new terrain, tackling bouldering walls, and finding their Zen in yoga studios across the region. 🌄✨
Friendly Reminder—most PNSAA resort exchanges wrap up on April 15th, so there’s still time to get in your mountain adventures! But the fun doesn’t stop there—we’ll keep the exchange going with climbing gyms, yoga studios, and our more local resorts. This perk continues through the end of our season. Let’s keep the adventures rolling! 🏔️🧘♀️
HR Fun Fact: We’ve Got Your Back (and Your Parties!)
Did you know the Human Resources team processes around 200 exchange requests each week? In addition to our daily duties, we’re also the ones planning the epic parties and crafting these newsletters! 🎉✍️
With a dedicated team of six, we’re always here to support you and keep the stoke alive. Whether it’s a question, concern or a celebration, we’ve got you covered!
