Have a wellness day for park crew. Our crew doesn't get to take advantage of the wellness programs. They are almost always during the times we are busy. If not we miss sign up as we aren't able to get into the lodge.
What time of day would work best for Park Crew well for a wellness offering?

Is it me? This is my second season and it seems that I am having more fun and meeting more people. Could be I'm more relaxed and having fun, or the people are just more awesome. Either way, fun!
This week was tough with staffing. There are coworkers that ae very unreliable and it blows for us that show up. I want to commend the supervisors wh ohave helped us this week, its been very appreciated. ALso I want to thank my manager(cody) for being ou tthere withus when we are all working. it sure helps morale to have a boss that works just as hard as us. Also, thanks for the talk in the morning meeting today, the tone and transparency were appreciated, hopefully my coworkers will listen.
Thank you for the feedback. It has been tough. We have hired more people and we have had a number of people that have resigned due to their attendance. We will keep working on it and I will keep working hard to help as often as I can. We have an awesome team and we are very grateful to have team members like you.

I already posted something this week but I also wanted to highlight Scott Walker, Ian Sherrod, and Johnny Parker. These three guys are some of the best guys I have the pleasure to work with! Ian and Johnny both work their butts off and make sure our resort just keeps together. Scott walker is also a champ! I love sitting and chatting with him in the morning before he starts and he is one of the most knowledge members of our staff I have ever met. I have watched Scott on an almost daily basis help our guests find where they need to go or direct them to the people that can help them the most. I really hope Scott becomes a permanent fixture to our team!
As the season start to get into spring, life get easier and the team is more experienced so everything is running smoothly. I just want to say how awesome Ashley Kastner is. With working with her for the past couple years, I am constantly in awe of her knowledge and leadership ability. Her team is awesome, and she is usually working above and beyond her job description and helping out literally every department. She is one very important team member that deserves as much recognition as we can give her!
Hi! I have a question about lift maze setup, specifically on MHX and HRM. I volunteered to help setup MHX maze on Weds 2/13. I asked my co-worker why we had to set the metal fences (sides facing the mountain) at such hard right angles - he didn't know. On graph paper it looks nice and neat..but on skis, it's really difficult to make those angle turns when the lines are crowded. Any consideration to set them less sharp (e.g. on a diagonal?)
For HRM - it's really hard angle from the loading path to the loading area, and I've witnessed several guests (myself included!) trying to get in place at the loading line after flailing around trying to make that sharp turn. I realize the terrain may have something to do with it at HRM, but don't recall in past years it being so sharp.
Thanks!
The maze setups are basically years worth of trying what works best. If it no longer works then we can change it to see what works better. If you have time and would like to follow up with me let me know. I am at cody.howe@skihood.com or ext 1414.

I really enjoy working at meadows,I would like to see year round employees get paid overtime.the time we spend beyond our ordinary shifts is necessary to properly maintain the lifts.
Thanks for the continued comments about overtime, we hear the feedback.
