Could we update the pictures and plaques on the wall in the ski school by the private desk?
Thank you for mentioning this. I think someone mentioned it in a previous comment as well. I will follow up.

If you make this survey non-anonymous, don't expect to get any honest feedback. This is the one place we have to actually be heard, to voice our concerns without fear of repercussions. I for one, am not comfortable approaching my managers or supervisors with suggestions good, bad or otherwise. Outspoken people do not get rewarded at Meadows, they get ostracized and made to feel like an outsider. Check the "get out" comments from last round.
It is unfortunate that you do note feel comfortable approaching your Supervisors and Managers. I truly believe honest feedback is necessary to help us all learn and grow. As Jake mentioned in the email the survey will remain anonymous but if you feel comfortable reaching out I'd love to discuss ways to give feedback to your supervisors and managers in a productive way.

In general I truly love this job. Today, three DPS officers boarded the bus and threatened to search everyone and fire anyone caught with "anything illegal" if any weed was smelled. Of course it is not okay that people were smoking on the bus yesterday, but DPS's approach, attitude, and threatening language toward the entire bus-riding population was not acceptable to me. There is a productive way to communicate, and this was not it. The perpetual stoke I had been feeding all day was 100% doused by this brief interaction. Is DPS exempt from upholding our core values?
DPS is not exempt for upholding our company core values. I will talk with the DPS staff on how to communicate in these types of situations. Thank you for saying something and helping us grow.

Yeah so,the new are not as good as the breakfast burritos
Well we will have to agree to disagree on that one. I think the eggs have been cooked so much more consistently this season and the deep fried onions, spinach and tomatoes are a great addition. The Culinary team will be making some menu adjustments on 2/15 which hopefully will be well received.

Here is a chunk of constructive criticism for you. Today at Cooper Spur we turned away 8 Private lessons ($74 each) and turned away over 15 people for group lessons ($42 each) because Meadows FAILED TO STAFF SKI SCHOOL. Sending 2 (two, yes two) instructors on a blue bird Saturday is a failure. It's a let down to guests who've been told Cooper is a great place to learn and a great place for families to go. It's a let down to the instructors who are mobbed ALL DAY with no support. The Meadows attitude towards Cooper is petty and needs to improve immediately. Maybe not referring to us as "the red headed stepchild" or the "bastard child" would help improve attitudes. Maybe informing instructors that they get paid ALL DAY here and not just for lesson times they would be more willing to come down. Either way, $1072 in lost revenue is pretty crappy. What's worse is the attitude the guests walk away with and it's on you guys up there, not us down here. We show up, you guys don't and you fail us and the guests. So feel free to call this complaining if you'd like, I'll call it informing you via my survey since emails, calls and otherwise have gone unanswered.
That is unfortunate that we had to turn away lessons at Cooper Spur. I can confidently say I have never made the type of references you are referring too about Cooper. In fact I think Cooper Spur is an incredible place and I am stoked every time I get the chance to be there.
Unfortunately there have been days where the Meadows Learning Center is short staffed and needing to cut off lesson sales as well. Lesson demand can be highly variable depending on the conditions and currently we do not always have enough instructors to meet the demand. That being said we continue to strive to do better.
For any instructors reading this, Sundays in February with large program numbers we could definitely use more help if anyone can switch to the next three Sundays.

Something needs to change with the Schuss in the morning. Either you need to tell folks that there is a 30 minute wait for a breakfast wrap or fix the problem that make it take 30 minutes to make one. Maybe provide a premade grab and go option...
Thanks for your comments. Generally, 30 minutes is not the normal time to wait for breakfast wrap, but I do know there have been some issues a few times lately…generally related to a key employee absence. I am sorry for it taking that long. Those items are cooked to order and have a much higher quality…so there will most always be some wait time…but it should be more like 5-10 minutes depending on how busy we are…not more than 15-20 when very busy.
Just so you know, we do have breakfast sandwiches (and deli sandwiches) available all day in both Higher Grounds and down at the HRM lodge. We created that last season so folks could get a hot premade sandwich. We have special ovens in those two locations that quickly heat up the pre-made sandwich. That might be a better option if you are in a hurry.
