Hood Meadows employee?(Required) Yes No What to expect:This winter has been unpredictable! We are still hoping for snow, but we have converted to an off the snow curriculum! Don’t worry, we will still have many hands-on activities but not likely grooming, park building, winching time on the mtn. We WILL still cover these topics in classrooms and venture into other things like, heavy equipment operation, welding, building rails, summer rail maintenance, snow maintenance, lift maintenance, snowmaking and awesome roundtable discussions. Please pack accordingly for outdoor working conditions in possible rain, snow, fog, and sun. After the day is over there are eateries and watering holes in Govt. Camp, Cooper Spur, or wherever you decide to stay. This is a supportive environment for growth. We encourage everyone to break away from their comfort zone to meet new people and try new things.We do ask if you are traveling with someone that is not a paying participant of the event or a coach to please refrain from having them come to the venue. A lot of this event is covered by sponsorship money and it is budgeted based on our attendance. We would rather not spend our resources on someone who isn’t attending or contributing to the event.
