I-9 Verifications – What To Bring

The I-9 form verifies your eligibility for employment in the United States.
It's a federal law all employers have to comply with.

There are two steps:

1. All new team members and those with more than three seasons break in service must fill out the form in Dayforce

2. Present documentation to Human Resources or Cooper Spur General Manager on your first day, in person to verify eligibility.

You MUST present personal documentation within the first two days of work. If your I-9 form is not verified before or on the begining of your third shift, you will not be allowed to work until the form is complete. Yes, this is important!

What To Bring:

Personal documents to verify your I-9 should be:
– Original (no photocopies or photographs of documents)
– Unexpired
– Not Laminated

A complete list of acceptable documents are detailed below:

For team members needing to order a new Social Security Card:

Order a new Social Security card online, be sure to get a receipt for your order. This will temporarily verify your employment eligibility until you receive your official Social Security Card. When you receive the official SSC you will need to present it to Human Resources to complete verification.
