W-2's Are Ready!

Please come pick them up in Human Resources. We spend hundreds of dollars on postage to mail these out, because we’re legally required to mail them if you don’t pick them up. So please help us out and pick up your W-2 from Human Resources TODAY!

Things we’d rather spend money on than postage:

  • Wellness Kits
  • Sweet prizes for employee parties
  • Dog treats for patrol dogs
  • Human treats for humans
  • Just about anything else other than postage

You may be asked to show identification (yes, your pass counts!) to pick up your W2.

Please note if you work for Cooper Spur these W2s will be available to pick up with Barbara Basham.

W2 FAQ:

Can I have a friend pick up my W2 for me?
No, we only give your W-2 to YOU. The only exception is spouses and parents picking up their W-2 for children under 18.
Can I access my W2 electronically?
YES! Log into Dayforce on a laptop or desktop, go to Earnings > Year End Forms. Easy!
Can I help save a tree and opt out of getting my W2 printed next season?
YES! In Dayforce go to Profile and Settings, Payroll Information, and click on the Pencil symbol next to “Year End Form Delivery”
When will you mail W2s out?
We will mail them out on the 27th. You will need to pick them up from Human Resources by 4:30 pm on the 26th.
I work at Cooper Spur AND Mt Hood Meadows, how does that work?
You will receive a W2 for both Cooper Spur and Mt Hood Meadows. You will have to pick up the W2 from both Meadows and Cooper Spur. Alternatively, access them all now in one place on Dayforce!
I swear I worked in 2019 but I don’t have a W2, what’s up?
2019 W2s are issued if you were PAID in 2019. If you worked at the end of December then were paid in January, those wages will go towards your 2020 W2.
Can you do my taxes for me?
Nope! But you can go here for free resources to get your taxes done!

– $25 tunes can be dropped off Sunday through Thursday. Please respect that we will be focused on guest tunes Fri, Sat, Sun.
– $25 dollars is the base price. Cost is dependent on how much time/material we will use.
– This is for Team Member personal gear only, It is not for friends or family, we are still tuning guest gear during the week, and it’s a Thank-You to staff members.
– We can’t bring gear back from the dead. If it’s beyond repair we can refuse to tune it.

Outdoor Prolink Update:

Accruals Announcement

One reason we invested in Dayforce was to improve the accurate calculation of our sick leave accruals.

During our transition to Dayforce we reviewed the information transferring from ADP, corrected any inaccuracies, and imported that information into Dayforce.
Once we were live with Dayforce, we monitored accruals for the next seven pay periods and are comfortable that your balances have been calculating correctly.
Your earnings statement will reflect the sick leave earned in the prior pay period that is available for your use. The Team Handbook also has details regarding the usage and availability of sick leave on page 19.

If you have any further questions about your accruals, please email payroll@skihood.com.

Be Aware & Buddy Up!

With the recent storm cycles stoke is high for all this powder. More powder also brings more hazards and risks – both in and out of bounds.

One Hazard to watch out for is Tree Wells and Snow Immersion Suffocation.  A tree well is a void or depression that forms around the base of a tree and can contain a mix of low hanging branches, loose snow and air. The trees found at Mt Hood Meadows all have potential for tree well danger. In particular, deep tree wells can form when low hanging branches block snow from filling in. These voids can be hidden from view by the tree’s low hanging branches.

Falling in a tree well can be life threatening. Be sure to ski and ride with a buddy to reduce some of the risk while skiing the deep powder and trees.  For more information on tree wells, snow immersion suffocation information and prevention, visit this site
