Pride Day at Meadows - This Saturday

pride_day_23

This Saturday is Pride Day at Meadows, a day we have reserved and highlighted for our mountain community to come together to honor and pay tribute to those who have worked and dedicated their lives to LGBTQ+ rights. It is a day for all to celebrate diversity in gender, identity, and sexuality, as well as an opportunity to support efforts toward an inclusive culture for our team, guests, and the ski & ride community. Ride with Pride is for everyone; LGBTQ+ rights are human rights!

Why do we celebrate Pride? Pride is a well of emotion, care, and respect for the LGBTQ+ community, our friends, family, and team members shared beyond our resort boundaries. By celebrating Pride, we recognize the work for safety, inclusion, and equity is not done; and hosting Ride with Pride is one way we can show up, support, and share our acceptance of each other and our community.

We invite you to learn more in our Inclusion Training Resources.

Flow Yoga - Embodied Leadership Movement

Our friends at Flow Yoga wanted to introduce the Meadows team to a program they are launching on April 19th.

Embodied Leadership Movement

Show up for each other. Show up for yourself. Maybe, you wouldn’t show up at 6 am for just YOU, but I bet you would if a community was counting on you! As a leader, if you struggle to consistently show up for yourself, then this program is for YOU.
Join us for a two-month spring commitment program for 20 community leaders to show up for each other to uplevel their lives.

As people devoted to others, our own self-care often gets bypassed. We are creating this circle of community, accountability, support, and education to elevate each other and our community.
Yes, this is professional development but it’s also personal development for the body, mind, heart, and soul.

Led By Sarah McDonnell, a wise, inspiring, experienced, successful, and illuminary business owner, mother, friend, and yogi.
