I'm considering a solution to a current time consumer. I have a basic idea that I believe will be effective but still needs refinement. Once I have completed my R&D process I will run the idea by Jess and see if the idea warrants further development. I believe this simple solution could potentially reduce parking time by as much as 3 to 5 seconds per car! That has the potential of parking out the main lot as much as 50 minutes faster than we are now!
Also, I would like to say thank you for welcoming me to the meadows team, this is my third season on payroll but my first actually at meadows itself as my first two were at Cooper Spur. I love that little gem and am sad to say goodbye, but thanks to the family work atmosphere at the spur I was able to grow in ways I couldnt have imagined. For the first time in my life, at the age of 43, I can see myself at a place I love so much I want to retire there. I want to be part of this as long as i can, I'm in love with the guests and i hope they love me....
Sincerly,
The Meadow Viking!😉
Thank you for continue to innovate and improve systems! I think the parking team has already made some awesome improvements this season and it would be fun to see even more!

If all staff were dual discipline instructors.
Let's schedule another cross-over clinic to get our team trained up! Great idea! -Tyler Barnes, Learning Center Operations Manager.
I've been here through thick and thin, part time to full time - this is the best team ever. Yes, there are struggles but the team's attitude toward enriching our guests lives prevails.
I'm really stoked about the team this year, too! Thanks for being part of it! -Tyler Barnes, Learning Center Operations Manager
With all the long shifts, great snow fall, we may all be a little tired. May we all stop and think of the special work environment we are in. We choose to be here for many reasons. Hoping you all enjoy 2019 as much I am looking forward to the adventures it will bring.
Totally agree and thank you for saying so! Reflecting on what job I might be doing if I wasn't here always makes me appreciate our team and company.

THE KIDS LOVE SEAMORE! It has been so motivating for students to show Seamore how they can slide on the snow. Love all the new toys for the fun zone and Seamore's house. Makes a huge difference in teaching the littles. There is so much more available to explore. I couldn't rave more about these improvements.
Also, The returning management for the MHM Learning Center and the new management has been so supportive and I can't thank them enough. This has been the easiest and best year for me working at MHM so far.
Is sledding allowed in the fun zone? Was difficult to teach my student with 3 or 4 large red bean bag chairs also going down those slopes. Maybe train fun zone carpet operators and instructors on how to handle that if it happens. CLC needs more broccoli for lunches we've run out a number of times for students and I hate to see kiddos not get their veggies.
Thanks for pointing out the awesome improvements for kids lessons and snow play this year. I could not be more proud of the Supervisors and Managers in the Meadows Learning Center that made this happen. After the quote came in much higher than expected to build Seamore's fort the team decided to just build it themselves which I think shows how much passion they have for this project!
Sledding is not allowed in the Fun Zone unfortunately and currently it is best to direct folks to a snow park outside the Meadows permit area to sled as sledding and skiing/riding don't always mix well as you have pointed out.
Thanks for the feedback on not enough broccoli, we will follow up on that.

Big props to Lisa! She is always positive and professional, and keeps thinks low-stress even when faced with problems.
I would also appreciate it if the buses were more reliable. We don't get paid for the time that we sit at the bus stop waiting for the bus to show up, so it's really frustrating when the bus isn't on time.
Totally agree about Lisa, I am so thankful to get the opportunity to work with her.
Sorry for your frustration about the reliability of the buses. I know the Vehicle Shop team is doing everything they can to avoid mechanical issues.

Transportation could treat other departments with some respect. I have had guests drifting in the parking lot in front of transportation. I did not feel safe parking my car to come into my shift. The transportation workers standing within 50 ft said nothing. I apporached the employees and they still said nothing. I have personally experienced and heard multiple instances of transportation employees treating employees coming in to park rudely. The rollout of the admin parking system has been slow and not well supported or addressed. Not sure why there have been so many issues this year vs past years. If you want to change the system, that is fine. But you need to make aure that people who need to park at admin have the reaources to do so. Telling them the rules have changed as they are attempting to work is pretty rough.
I Love my job and the VP's and COO are amazing!!! So is Fallon and Joanne...and I think Doug and Samantha will be a great addition to the A team
