...difficult staffing period continues...
Thank you for the christmas food vouchers and holiday chits!
Stay up late one nite. Go for a cat ride with grave yard shift see what Jeremy Carter and crew do to make things possible for that 8:55 opening
Carter is one with his machine see how his magic works and possibly see one of the most beautiful sunrises
You have a good man here I think he might be a little light in the appreciation shown department
Just sayin
Thanks for the suggestion, I was able to ride along with Jeremy this morning for a few hours very early this morning. The grooming team does impressive work and we regularly get great comments from guests.

I supervise in Higher Grounds, i find it absolutely astounding how many lift operators get out of line just to come ask me if they can cut the line because they are on break. Employees are not above guests when in line to order something. Taking a lunch at 11:30-1pm isn’t very wise if an employee plans on coming to one of the F&B locations. Please talk to shift leaders about taking lunches at a different time so that employees aren’t stuck in a line for 15-20 minutes
Shouldn’t someone who would spend the time to write this week’s highlighted comment really be working elsewhere?? Life’s too short!
Lift Ops is going well. The Schuss however, is absolutely ridiculous. I was just in there for half an hour. There was no one in line. They weren't even busy. Over half the employees were just standing there doing nothing. People are sick and tired of it taking freaking forever to get their food, and it's not because they're under staffed, they're just lazy. I know some of the Schuss employees personally, and they say they work the Schuss because they don't have to do hardly anything. This is unacceptable and unprofessional.
I've seen some great improvements in the Schuss this year, though there is always room to get better and times where things do not go as planned. I've also found that as you dig in and learn more about a specific department or job you better understand the challenges of that job which may be hard to see from the outside.
