Might be nice to have hike options in both directions for people who want something more difficult or to come back and hike again
Thank you for the suggestion. We just recently got Forest Service approval to expand our hiking trails and planning work for this has started. Our goal is to have a more expansive trail network for hiking in the future.

i’m enjoying my one shift a week up at Meadows. I really like who I get to work with. Thumbs up to Meadows for that van event. I thought that was really cool. Jason Roberts and Marshall are awesome left attendance.
Awesome, thank you for the shout out to Jason and Marshall! Our summer operations is doing an awesome job.

Working weddings is fun. Watching Andres attempt baking is even more fun!
I haven't witnessed Andres's baking skills yet but I do really appreciate his ability to jump in and help in so many areas of the Cooper operation.

It's nice to finally have leaders that listen and care.
Thanks for recognizing them! The team at Cooper has a lot to be proud of for sure.

How about summer ops work on channel 7 like they did last year? Or at least teach them proper radio communication techniques ie, if you want to have a conversation get a phone number and talk to each other on the phone so the radio is freed up
Thanks for the suggestion, I will bring it up with the Summer Ops Team.

As a company we should be putting more effort into picking litter year round.
Thank you for sharing, it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on the best way to maximize these efforts. It seems like efforts and response to the litter collection day were minimal this year so I assume you might be referring to increased participation in that or just general awareness about picking up litter. Perhaps both?
Either way the less litter in our permit area the better.

less rain would improve the environment we are working in. lol we down here at cooper would like a little summer weather .
also, how long should we expect these stop lights by HRM parking lot ? They put quite the damper on the drive to and from work. Sometimes when there isn't any traffic it can take sometimes 10 minutes to get through. I know its not Meadows doing it and it's a contracted company but I thought maybe the powers above us might possibly know how long its expected to have a stop light there. Thanks.
It looks like the nicer sunny weather is finally hear! Regarding the stop lights on 35 you can find more information at the link below scrolling down to ORE35 and hitting the plus arrow. Currently they don't post a timeline for when the lights will be removed.

Is the company working to increased wages for the employees that have been committed to the company long enough to make over 16 an hour? This is the third time in my career hear at MHM that we have bummed up the lower wage employee and starting wages. That's awesome but the middle guy seems to get left out and as far as wages go it feels like taking a step backwards year after year. Thanks
Hi thanks for the question. There are many factors that go into determining wages at Meadows, and our goal is to have the process as transparent and fair as possible.
We have bumped up wages every year since 2016 in order to follow state Minimum wage. This is the first year we decided to exceed it. For team members in non-tipped positions making between $10.75 and $16/hr we have developed the base wage table which dictated the pay increase for these positions.
And yes, are working towards wage increases for those above $16. There was normal cost of living increases in July. We also benchmark wages against National Ski Area Association compensation data to keep our team in line with industry standards. We aim for all positions to have room for competency-based wage increases as well.
For your specific position and wage and how you can gain competencies to earn greater pay, speak to your manager or director to learn more.
