In regards to the naming, Bullwheel Bar is great and I support that 100%. Personally, I'm not a fan of the generic and cheesy "Wildflowers" or "Waterfalls" names. Sahale Grill sounds good and would be easy to connect and find for our guests. "Mezz" or "The Mezz" for the mezzanine. Reminds me of how the locals and staff refer to our lifts (MHX, Star, HRM, etc.).
Perhaps incorporating some native names in like Wy'East?
Thanks for the suggestions. One of the main themes for the Sahale restaurant level is to relate to our guests the wonders of our permit area in the summer. It is amazing how many of our winter guests don't know that we are running a scenic chair in the summer, or what the terrain looks like without snow. Our wildflowers and waterfalls distinguish us from other high mountain hikes, and we want to use Sahale to communicate that to our guests. If you have some other names that would communicate this as effectively, we are open to it! And we will be very aware that regardless of our final naming, the design and presentation of the logos and theming is done in a high quality, inspiring way.

Those are REALLY lame names for restaurant/bar/coffee shops in the new lodge. Come on! Let’s het creative here!
OK - let's get creative here! Do you have any suggestions for names?

With regards to the names..... what's wrong with "the deck"? You are going to change it, and it won't stick and the old timers will still call it the deck, and then it will get confusing. I like all the other ideas, but quit trying to overmarket the idea and stick with "the deck".
Thanks! Sometimes the simplest is the best. We're considering "Sahale Deck" as it distinguishes it from the South Lodge Sun Deck. We appreciate the feedback!

Trying to build the new trail with hand tools through the meadow (no tree) areas is a very difficult challenge. Some machinery would really expedite this effort.
First - thank you for the hard work and effort to build that trail this summer. It was somewhat unexpected to receive approval so quickly and we appreciate having a team that was able to react so quickly and add another hiking experience for our guests. The other trails are considerably longer, but a mini-excavator has been approved for the construction of those trails, which we will most likely rent. Hopefully we'll be able to continue trail construction (with this equipment) next summer.

Doing weekly meetings has helped communication and feeling like apart of a team. I'm into it.
That is awesome! I'm certain the other members of the team, including the team leaders, are getting a lot out of it as well! It really is the team participation that makes weekly meetings work!

Warm Springs Terrace is good.
Bullwheel stands out to me as the name of Crystal's bar.
Maybe Deschutes instead of Waterfall, or another native word for the same thing.
Wildflowers is nice.
I hope the roost has stuffed birds!
Great feedback! We are pretty committed to the Bullwheel Bar - we are planning on using the bullwheel from the Mt. Hood Express as the primary feature for the bar. Great idea to tie in native definitions. Thanks!

Naming of the dining areas of Sahale feedback:
Love the names “Wildflowers” & “The Warm Springs Terrace”
Not a fan of “Waterfalls” & “The Bullwheel Bar”
50/50 on “Sahale Grill” & “The Roost”
Suggestions: Trillium Grill, Marmots Den, Beargrass Cafe, The Lupine Room or any configuration thereof.
Thank you for asking for our opinion and input.
Thank you for the feedback and suggestions!

Instructions for dogs to go around the building to avoid the metal stairs.
Thanks Margie! I will pass this along to Josey and our summer team. I noticed my Schnauzer Shawnee has some trepidation on the grate. I don't know if it's because of the grating or the see through nature.

Love the names for Sahale!
