Lately it feels like I've just been the punching bag of the department. Anytime I try asking a question to a few of of my co workers I just get a smartass response or sent on a wild goose chase to find an answer on something I don't understand completely or at all. It's gotten to the point where I'm afraid to ask any questions in fear of looking like a fool to them and is just adding way to much unnecessary stress and embarrassment. I come here to work and improve my skills, not to be tossed around. I'm dealing with enough stuff in my personal life, I don't need extra stress from work.
I am sorry to hear you are feeling that way. Not knowing the details of the situation it is hard to know how to help.

I'd like to give Marshal Ellison a huge shootout. He has really grown into a great leader and he deserves recognition for his efforts this season so far.
Thank you for recognizing Marshal!

I was glad last season when we increased the military discount to $30 off for a daily lift ticket. What if we gave at least the same $30 discount for season passes (buying in person only of course)
Credit should go to our former COO Jake Bolland for the increased military discount last season. We will consider whether a discount on the season pass makes sense for next season, thanks for the suggestion.

I'm nervous about how we accomplish goals this season with significant experienced staff losses.
Although I feel well supported by recent changes that should help our retention, there will be an inevitable lag in some of the positive effect, one that will coincide with other big changes here making for another stressful preseason.
Without knowing the specifics of the situation it's hard to know how to help but please reach out if there is something we can do to help ensure success.

During the pre-season things can get a bit monotonous. While I do understand that this work is a necessary, some type of weekly check in event could help keep us connected and break up the monotony. It would also help to begin the reintroduction process that will help connect / reconnect us as we prepare for the season.
Great idea. With orientations coming up quickly that should break up the monotony but one of the most fun things about fall is reconnecting with everyone. Do you have suggestions for the type of event you'd like to see?

Why is it so hard to pave admin road in the summer? You had asphalt delivered right down the road for the new HRM lot and couldn’t fix admin road. You guys are all up there every week for the meetings. Did you not notice the craters in the road? Too late now it’s snowing and we can’t do anything about it now. Guess we’ll just keep trying to dodge the craters on way to work every morning. Don’t even try to say that you attempted to fix it last year. You had the trail crew fill holes with a crap product. Once again upper management doesn’t care about the workers and the fact that we can’t spend a fortune to have our cars realigned once a week or our suspensions fixed once a week because of the failure to fix the road.
It is great to be back. I thought that the employee event at Solera was AWESOME!! It was well planned and the food was great. I also want to give a huge shout out to the HR team and anyone involved in Dayforce. I know that is has been a lot of work but I think that it will be worth it. All good things take time and this seems that this will be a good thing for the resort. We all need to be patient and assist in the process. Thank you for all that you do.
Big thanks to the Culinary Team for planning the event at Solera while HR was focusing on Dayforce. It was an awesome event!

I wish it was summer and wedding season all year!
Hopefully having more weddings year round is in our near future!

Every time I open my computer to work the Cooper Spur web page pops up. However, I’m really tired of seeing strangers kissing ....every time I have to open the internet to work . Year after year ...multiple times a day....hundreds of times a year. Always the same strangers kissing. Can you please change the photos??? I get we need advertisements for weddings, but maybe throwing the bouquet... or the great food we make for weddings or people dancing. Seeing strangers kissing is weird.
I hate having to open my work and always see not just one couple, but two different couples kissing all the time. Seems like there would be better suited photos if this is our security site for web working access. Yes- work access. Please no more strangers kissing! Thank you.
Well I am partial to the Cooper Spur website but we actually no longer need to browse to an http:// site first for authentication like we used to and in the Cooper site is an https:// site now. We will discuss whether we should change the default home page.

I'm continually impressed by the amount of work MHM management accomplishes on the daily. From transition to Dayforce, getting products online, producing fall events, preparing to make this season the best yet, and hosting an appreciation party, while under the Sahale project, it really blows me away how much we are doing this season.... and it's not even mid-October! Special thank you to Matt, Lara, and Fallon for working so hard the past few weeks on this amazing transition to a central software for all our needs as managers. I'm really proud of this moment, and I know that it will only get more exciting.
Agreed it is impressive to see how much our team has accomplished over the summer in many areas. Matt, Lara and Fallon have certainly been burning the midnight oil to get the Dayforce software launched and it is exciting to see it launched.
